This is a definite time of unknown and uncertainty. We all have several questions with not many answers. Your Arizona Board of Directors along with our Executive Director, Diana DeLeon are doing all we can to keep you informed with email newsletter updates, webinar notices and our COVID-19 Information page just added to the website. We have added the green strip at the top of the Home page that links you to all the information.

Diana will be working to keep you connected and up to date with the latest federal and state information for your business, employees and yourself. We do ask that you share any important information that you feel would be a help to others and Diana will make sure to have it added. As we continue to navigate day by day, I also encourage you to share ideas with us that are working in your shop that could help others. I do know that times like these show us how lucky we are to be a member of ASA AZ and to have the relationships with one another that help us to navigate through the tough times together. We should all stop, take a deep breath and know this will all work out. There might be some rough roads ahead but together we can prepare and get through them.

I am happy to hear that most everyone I have spoken to is staying steady if not busy which is great. Being designated as an essential business we need to do all we can for our customers who continue to trust in us. Dear members:

2019 was a good year for ASA of Arizona! We had a our best Training & Expo, both financially and educationally. Diana, Executive Director and Luz, Financial Director have our association moving in the right direction, beginning with our new website. Diana has worked to create a site which you will find to be more user friendly when looking for other shops, associate members and your local chapter events and information. You will now also be able to pay your membership dues online through this site. Diana is currently working on the 2020 Training & Expo which will be held June 26-28 at Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino. We are looking forward to a record attendance this year so, plan on signing up early and bringing your entire team. Luz has been updating contact and payment information to move towards an annual billing and renewal date on July 1st each year. If you have not been in contact with her, she will be talking with you as your renewal comes up.

To continue to grow and give you the best for your business, everyone should be participating in round table meetings, chapter meetings and associate member/vendor authorized meetings and events. Are you taking advantage of our associate member offers? Everyone can benefit from any one these offers. Take a moment to check out their page on the site and see if its time to make some new connections. (Example: Our credit card program is the best in the state.) Please consider all of our associate members when your current contracts are up and you are looking at new pricing.

February, is around the corner and we have a fantastic event happening for shop owners only. Our Retreat at Cliff Castle Hotel and Casino includes a top speaker, open discussions, networking and great fun in the mountains of Verde Valley. We are actively seeking shop owners from our surrounding states to attend our events as we look to attend theirs. Our board goal is to enhance your membership in ways we have not ventured before.
